| View point halt on the way to Khao Yai national park |
5 Feb 2015
Another weekend in Thailand was about to come. Thailand weather was colder then expected and somehow we decided to do camping. The first ever camping of my life spent till now. we decided to visit Khao yai national park and spend one cold night there. I got my closed friend Jesper from office, his girlfriend and my wife(by default) as my co-visitors.
We left from Bangkok on Friday evening itself and stayed in my wife's house in Korat on Friday night. Saturday morning we woke up, bought some food for barbecue and left for national park.
First shock hit us when national park charged THB 400 entry fee for me and my danish friend Jesper as punishment of being foreigner and to be charged premium,10 times more than Thai people. Even though we work in Thailand and pay taxes on monthly basis there was no discount given.
we rented tents and other necessary equipments and main event of trip started. I set tent with help of Jesper and we set the bonfire near to our tents.

A daring dear came to camping area in search of food. Few people found it adorable and wanted to take photo with it but I was scared of its sharp horns

It finally left after finding some food and entertaining people. We started barbecuing our food. It was fun feeling to enjoy the cold weather sitting in front of fire to consume life saving heat. And of course teasing my wife and Jesper just for fun (my favourite work).
Since we started eating our barbecued dinner at 6:30, by 9:30 we all were very tired and wanted to sleep. Temperature was falling rapidly. The National park had shower facility at 200 m distance of our tent but no one dared to go even near water. So finally we packed our self into tent and started sleeping. Enjoyable cold weather but due to lack of thick blanket it was not so comfortable sleep. I woke up at 4 am and couldn't sleep after that.
I came out of tent at 6:30 AM and lit the fire again. I needed hot coffee.

Everyone else woke up and joined me slowly. Bread butter, corn and coffee was my breakfast that day.
we slept a bit more after finished long breakfast. Meanwhile strong cold breeze started and our tent were damaged. How we saved our tent to fly away from us was funny.

first one was Haew Narek water fall. Narek is Thai word which means hell. this water fall was so high and collected water in pond as so black. May be because of that it is named after hell.
